Good post.
As a City fan I wouldn't be to to dissapointed if he didn't sign for us.
He's to old, no resale value and is injury prone. Not sure he would
fit into our system either. As you say United would be right club for him.
He can be the main man which I agree, that seems important to him
and he will double his wages. Would be a good move for him.
Kane himself certainly seems to be pushing for it...

How many injuries has he had in recent years i thin k he has had a few is it his hamstring he has been out with a few times, saying that at 28 he still has a few years left in him he would be top player for anybody but for 120 million plus its lot of money but he would guarantee goals , he will end up at City i think definitely , but Haaland at 22 is definitely the future

I think he might suit United a bit more actually. You have a plethora of very talented young attacking players, but getting Kane who is still (just about) in his prime would be the cherry on the cake. I know you have Cavani too but to me he is an impact guy. United have always had lots of good attackers.

I don't know how old Cantona was when you signed him, but Kane now reminds me a fair bit of Cantona when he was at United. A talismatic figure, intelligent and a lethal finisher. I think if you get him, it could propel you to competing with City and probably Chelsea next season.

Indeed it would be great if we could get him but it seems he wants to go City , i agree Cantona was brilliant for United but Kane is a real lethal striker , i thought i heard Guardiola say a while back that they could not afford a new striker ffs, they might ship a few out maybe Sterling and a couple more , i think maybe United will go for Sancho and Ings maybe , the Glazers i think know now they might have to something to appease the fans after recent unrest , they have not really backed OGS and VAN de Beek im not sure who actually wanted and signed him , i dont think it was OGS

I think a lot of top teams are stating there's no money a a negotiating position really. Spurs will start off with something daft like 140m, and United/City won't go near that. But (particularly City) can obviously afford a big fee if they wanted too.

Spurs are fortunate Kane has had arguably the best season of his career otherwise they would have been looking at around 50-60m I think.

As for United, I can't see Ings to be honest mate, but Sancho looks likely. You don't really need Kane, but if you could get the deal done, imagine what he could teach the likes of Rashford and Greenwood. Rashford, Greenwood, Cavani, Kane & Sancho is as good a forward options as is in the league in my view. Thats before you get to the likes of Martial.

I wonder though are Spurs in a bit of financial trouble they spent an awful lot on the new stadium , there has been some strange things going on there this season , with mourinho sacked, dele ali nonsense , now Kane going public and also Levy going public the other day , they may want 130 milion but likely 80 0r 90 with say Sterling going back to London

He does.
Very strange the way Kane has gone about this transfer request.
Looks like he has fallen out with Levy big time. He is 'Mr Spurs'
so its a strange way for him to behave.

I'd take a straight swop for Sterling any day of the week.
£80m plus Sterling would value Kane at circa £200m which
is way over the top.

Why how much do you think Sterling is worth on the market , i know some city fans who would let him go

Yeah seriously i though that too , this interview with Neville is really weird stuff you dont really get many players doing this unless they have fallen out with the top men at the club

City's midfield scored 35 goals in the league this season. If they spend 150 on Kane it just doesnt make any sense. What does Kane add to City, that they dont already have? City have scored the most goals in the league, ran away with it and are in the champions league final.

If you spend 100 let alone 150 on one player you have absolutely zero excuse to not win the league and champions league. With Kane's ambition and City's structure thats the end of Klopp's reign and the start of the demise.

I think its important for Harry to be looked at the most important player of the club. Realistically Kane will and should go to United. Hell be the man of that club.

Then again who am i to tell the sheikh how to spend his "Hard" earned billions.
Another option is what kane will give them.
City fans will be excited if he signs, dont worry about that.

Hard to value Sterling really. He has had a poor season but has 64 goals in the last 4 PL seasons. I also think prices will decline this summer. I'd put him slightly below Kane, but not enormously so, maybe 65-70m?

It strikes me like certain guarentees that were made are now not being honoured. I think Spurs could regret not selling Kane. I get the impression he has played through injuries a fair bit, and come back early from injuries for the club. I suspect his days of doing that will be over now.
