Awful squad, imagine trying to improve this lot. We need a lot of replacements and bringing in lots of players at the same time never works.
2 or 3 quality signings might improve the team, but the bench will still be shocking, look who we brought on last night, Gomes and Bernardlol

Next season is my last if it doesn’t improve, they can stick £600 a season ticket up their backside
 
Rome wasn't built in a day comes to mind but now is the time to restart the build.

This summer we will be starting with an additional £400k+ a month from players like Walcott, Bolaise, Besic etc coming off the wage bill.

Loans to return to the squad and their clubs:
Olsen
King

Next will be fringe players who have been actively looking to move or linked with moves away:
Kean
Bernard
Kenny

Then we have players who have a year left and who will be kept on or look to cash in
Coleman
Sigurdsson
Delph
James
Tosun
Branthwaite
Baningime

We might also look at a few players who haven't been up to scratch but remember this isn't a computer game, you can't sell them on if no-one wants them or just sack them because this is the Premier League not a part time job at a supermarket. They have invested (sadly and unwisely) millions in these players so as a business they'll want to get as much back as possible.

We are all quite convinced that we are actively looking for positions and we have been heavily linked throughout the starting XI and squad:
Right Back
Centre Midfield
Right Wing
Forward
Back Up Keeper
Plus we will also add more prospects and youth.

Finally all the Twitter and GOT chat over Carlo Ancelotti leaving is complete and utter BULL. He will be going NOWHERE so save your energy. This is a his project, his team now and he will be given time and funds to make to make this club better and us proud to be Evertonians.

This season with the highs and lows plus uncertainty over Covid and fans has been a struggle for all of us and bar a handful of daft games, we would be all sat here looking forward to the summer.

We have 2 games left and yes we feel we have been kicked in the stomach but results against United, The Red Shitë, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Leeds, Leicester have shown us that we have the right manager, we have fight,. We have we are headed in the right direction and we as fans have to believe in him not cast off all the work Carlo has done for us this season.

Our time will come but we need to keep our heads and back him.

I think the talk was only a few signings needed, I’m sure now that plan has changed, 6/7 players need bringing in.

Unfortunately I think we will struggle to get rid of certain players. And I could see a situation if Richarlison/DCL goes , but the likes of iwobi and Gomes still here next season. Again it will be another season of hoping we don’t get injuries.

Maybe not being in Europe playing once a week, is best for this squad next season.

It’s time to be ruthless. I think this summer will tell us a lot

Total outs, ~£56m. Huge wages saved, approx £600k p/w on the above.

Try to shift Iwobi and Gomes if possible.


Ins:
Keeper on a free - Rui Silva from Granada has been linked, first team competition without eating into our budget. Romero is decent too.

RB - Someone with pace who gets up and down who can cross, like Aarons but not necessarily him. Can see us spending approx £25m.

CM - A #8. We’ve got Allan, Tom and Gbamin for deeper. We need someone like Gomes but much better, or another Doucoure type. I do like Anguissa, so someone like him. Again, can see us spending about £25m.

RM - Iwobi isn’t up to it and James is always going to miss games. We need to spend biggest here. Love the look of Leon Bailey but he won’t come cheap. This is where I see us spending £30m+. LM isn’t so urgent, Rich is first choice and I suspect Gordon will be back up next year.

CF - Tosun, King and Kean won’t be here next year. Don’t think we can afford to spend big here however unless we sell a centre back and promote Branthwaite, or a big offer comes in for Rich so we can buy both a LM and a CF. Otherwise, don’t see us spending more than £15m on a striker.

Potential spend ~£95m. Net spend of ~£40m, with less wages and far less bodies on the bill overall.

Judging by Ancelotti's comments the last week or so I think we will spend big
He has realised how poor the squad is both mentally and physically
100m ( minimum ) plus sales is my guess

I know Moshiri wanted him when he first bought the club. I'm not sure that should be our priority, but we have to trust the manager.

I think a RB and a pacy CB to play alongside Godfrey would allow us to play a higher line and is the way Carlo will go
Weather that’s Koubailly remains to be seen , but as Catcher says he will be a lot cheaper than 60 m and a real statement of intent

I dont see Koulibaly as a 'statement of intent'.

Tapsoba, Bastoni, Kounde, Torres or someone young and already top notch with world class potential is a statement of intent for me.

Doubt we will get 100 m in sales but Ancelotti has marked UEFAs cards as regards FFP and how we won’t be sticking to it
Usmanov got us Carlo and he did not come here to manage this bunch of players
He will want 5/6 first team players this summer
Pickford ,Godfrey ,Digne ,Allan ,James DCL and maybe Ricarlison are safe , the rest are open to offers in Carlos mind if the price is right
