Champions League revamp

i do not care one single bit if it’s unfair on fans, players, managers, etc

it’s a question of good luck that liverpool fans and united fans are liverpool fans and united fans and have seen them become two of the most successful teams in european football. it’s a question of good luck that Chelsea and City fans were supporting these teams that got bought out by billionaires. unfortunately it is now a question of bad luck that they are supporting teams who’s owners tried to ruin football forever.

they made their choice, enjoyed the ride and now it should be over (or certainly halted!)

I'm just happy that the PR slime haven't tried to claim opposition to this super league is some kind of ism, ist or phobic. Still time for the scabs to scheme though...

Top marks to Chelsea, jumping first which tipped the scales in the PL voting stakes and forced the other dominoes over, Chelsea truly the best of a bad lot

All scabs in my opinion.

Won’t be buying the “seen the light, thanks to our fans & community” BS that the scab clubs will try to sell and damage control in the next few days.

I don’t understand how you can come to that conclusion? Their threat of moving to another league proved to be a load of hot air and they cacked themselves before the prospect of any punishments or legal action could even be implemented.
The PL and UEFA will do absolutely nothing to their blue eyed boys.. Maybe a customary fine but nothing like a ban or points deduction

That's why the punishment has to be severe so this project is not attempted again in a few years.

I don't think some of their fans may have been sold not matter the PR. Some football fans, even from these clubs, do want fair competition and enjoy the diversity of the clubs involved. I mean, how boring it would be to know that one of these 12 elite team would always have a chance to win, what's the point of such tournament. Sometimes what brings real excitement to the game is when the underdogs are having a good run against the big teams and that won't be possible in the Super League.
It was a dreadful concept, badly executed, but the top teams aren’t going to stop agitating.
I don’t think punishment is the answer, though it would be delightful. What actually needs to change is some rules and legislation that prevent those sort of actions ever happening again without discussion and approval of the wider football community.
If they just punish, then next time they will make sure it is a success.
