I would say it's worrying news for Chelsea fans more than anything.

No. They've broke the rules. Points deductions for every one of them.

I don't mind a sliding scale but it starts with a 20 point deduction for the first to leave and we go from there IMO.

Surely they can't be acting alone.

I get the feeling that the English clubs are starting to suspect that Perez has duped them, and are scrambling around trying to figure out how to save face without having to write the other clubs a multi-billion dollar check.

I suspect that, since there's no honor among thieves, their best play is to unite with the other ten owners and try to throw Perez under the bus along with his brainchild.
