ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Surely there has to be uefa sanctions on murderpool for the vandalism on the Real team coach at the loft extension - fines aren't doing anything to stop them. It should also be noted that we are still under covid restrictions so they have blatantly breached those yet again.

If they don't outright ban them (suspended to when they actually qualify of they don't this season) then they should be made to play all home fixtures in European competition behind closed doors for a season to two - the idiots might get the message if that happened and their beloved club are hit in the pocket properly.

Another point, why didnt our trusted and dedicated chief con simply implement and enact a dispersal order around the loft extension and surrounding areas - especially after the rallying calls went up online from the mutants, asking the covidiots to attend and welcome Real in their hundreds?

Put the order in place and arrest/move on anyone not complying - not rocket science is it?

Can't wait to hear about the full and thorough police investigation into the hooligans, where no (paving) stone is unturned. YMCA.

Hala Madrid!

I see last nights escapade with the Real Madrid coach has been wiped from the real world.
No mention on the Echo's website (I only looked to see how they were dressing it up)
Didnt happen mate apparently the driver ran over a stone and it bounced up and cracked a window. Autoglass are sorting it out under warrantee.

Coach attacks are literally exclusive to that club. Dominic King was on Talksport before and whilst be was forthright in his condemnation of the perpetrators, he tried to make out like this gives the whole city a bad reputation.

Surely any outsider with any knowledge of football would have enough nuance in their thinking to place the blame solely at the one club whose fans do this on a regular basis. The only damage that this incident should cause the city as a whole is the absolutely pathetic police department who once again could not guarantee the safety of an opposition team coach.

I can absolutely guarantee you that the same thing would have happened to Barcelona's bus as well if any RS attending the match that day (or more likely turning up for the 'coach welcome' before pissing off home or the pub) thought that they had a reasonable chance of progressing that night.

Knowing what their fanbase is like, I expect each and every away team coach to get attacked before finely-poised Champions League knockout ties. Due in part to the savvy marketing of LFC and the cultish persona they have allowed their already deluded 'customers' to fall into, RS supporters genuinely think that these instances give their team a competitive advantage, and until they are stopped by way of a European ban we are sadly already familiar with the deadly consequences that their behaviour will cause.

Merseyside Police also criticised the behaviour of those involved, saying it was 'extremely disappointing and totally unacceptable'.

If only Merseyside Police had had the power to have stopped RS fans gathering in the first place...:hayee:
If only you could get things like CCTV cameras then you would be able to arrest the perpetrators .

Yes well stimulants will help I guess.
The side has run its course and will probably now be dismantled. Can easily see Salah going this summer.
We can mock their fans all we want and deservedly so, they are absolute mutants, but on the pitch, a CL and PL win in 2 seasons from where they were when he took over them is impressive.
But is it?
One domestic trophy in 6 years. Hardly a dynasty is it?
Yep the CL. Had a lot of luck in that, but fair do's you need
luck in that competiton. For what they have spent and the way they
and the media go on, I'd say one domestic trophy in 6 years is a poor return
and far from being impressive to be honest.

The way these sentences are constructed has given me a migraine. Maybe it's only on a phone screen so I'll give you the benefit of doubt that you weren't pressing the enter key mid sentence.

Splitting heirs in all honesty mate.
Winning the English PL is impressive.

Don’t get me wrong, Leicester winning it was far more impressive, as they didn’t spend 140m on a goalkeeper and a defender to do it, but you begrudgingly have to give them a bit of credit, especially as they would have won it the season before comfortably in a normal year without that outstanding Man City side.

So 1st and 2nd and a CL isn’t a bad return over 3 years.

I hope Salah doesn’t go. The media will basically auction him off for £200m and I really don’t want them getting that sort of windfall for a 29 year old and rejuvenating the team with it. I would be delighted if all of their front 3 stayed, because it’s absolutely burnt itself out.
