Progress report on The Terror.
Upto episode six and I'm loving it. Not so much for the suspense but for the depiction on life aboard a navy vessel in the mid 1800's.
Also the manner of speech and grammatically correct pronunciation, very reminiscent of Ripper Street.

Just finished the final episode of season 2 of Final Space.... forgot how brilliant that last episode was....

annoying those allergies started to hit hard towards the end

It`s my second time around watching it and I`m appreciating the attention to detail much more this time around.

I really wished they`d made more episodes and really gone into finer detail, as they did in the book ( nearly 800 pages )
I finished it the other week. The cast were great, and it did a superb job early of building the suspense, but it totally lost my attention towards the end. Had they kept it more implied rather than overt it would have been superb.

Spot on mate.

If they`d stuck to the central premise of the book ( full supernatural ), it`d have been much more effective.

Shame really, as but for that it`d been a 10/10.

Watched the Serious Organised Crime thing on the BBC. Really good. I used to work quite closely with that team, they were absolutely fantastic and did really tough work, which at times seemed thankless and slightly soul destroying.

Huge respect for them and the approach that uses a variety bid different organisations to combat OCGs and support victims.
