ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Yep, it beggars belief. He’s a thug pure and simple, he was just lucky enough to be decent at football.
I would counter he wasn't a "great"player,he made the very most of what he had, excellent at the "dark arts" side of it,got away with absolute murder because of who he played for,his tactics most of the time involved more "grip and grapple"than a wrestling ring!!he could organise a defence though and could or would try to bully his colleagues to gain a result for them, but as for his basic footballing skills,he would have fitted in with me in the Southport and district Sunday league lol

He was a crap player, had a good centre back next to him like Hyypia or Agger to cover his arse most of the time and got by on being a passion merchant and throwing himself into desperate blocks. A rich man’s Ryan Shawcross.

As much as I can’t stand him with his patronising comments about us he was a decent whole hearted local player which is exactly what we needed in the derby around that time. but no we got osman who tried to kiss carrargher arse in the tunnel before Derby’s carraghers words not mine and spitty blanked him rightly so . But for them shouts about him still being a blue not a chance no blue would jump around in a studio celebrating when the RS score in the last minute against us .So when that moment makes us feel ill to the stomach he’s celebrating he’s no blue the rat

I notice that they’ve managed to talk themselves into a comfort zone now in regards to our new stadium. Apparently, we’re done for if we don’t get the stadium but equally as done for if we do.

Bless, they’re really not taking this well, are they?
Iive noticed this, seeing a few saying it will be counter productive and without the home advantage Goodison gives us we will be worse off haha

Also the you wont fill it crowd, I've reminded a few of those empty seats at Anfield about 10 years ago when flights were grounded after that volcano kicked off in Iceland

But the new stadium is going to be our home ground??

They can’t even sell out Anfield now. At the FA Cup derby there was a big stretch of seats empty in Big Stand.

Yeah but they think away teams hate coming to Goodison but will love going there, as in Goodison is worth 6 points a season, kind of like how everyone hated to play at The Dell, dont forget most dont set foot inside football stadiums so they wont get it

What about the mass desertion when Mr Woy was in charge? lol

The last time they faced a really bad time as a fan base under Hodgson about 10000 dissapeared overnight and they were getting 30 odd thousand for home games, if they ever had a few really poor seasons in a row then all the gloryhunting wools would vanish and Anfield would be half full, they would have to fall back on their scouse fans who dont want to go the game and are happy to watch it in the ale house.

"Scouse not English" they are like that knobhead from St Helens on holiday trying to convince everybody hes pure lid,the truth is the grounds full of Bazza from Basingstoke,Dazza from Dewsbury and Keiran from Killkenny, none of them like scousers, the gobshites with the reclaim the kop would flap if the chance for a ticket became available, they wave a Socialist flag while being one of the most corporate clubs going,a club that decimated the local community, you have the likes of Evans making out he fled the potato famine while the same club didnt sign a Catholic until 1979,they try to out scouse each other at every opportunity because they know most proper footy fans around the country class Everton as the proper representation of the city
That's the difference between us and them, we don't see the need to define our supporters, based on political beliefs, religious beliefs, where we come from or anything else. You have fans who are Scouse, Wools, Welsh, Irish, Scottish, Southerners, Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox, Muslim, Atheists, Polish, Russian, Bulgarian, Bosnian, Serbian, Australian, American, Greek, even Colombians. What unites us is a loving Everton, nothing else matters.

We had this debate on here a few weeks ago, I've always viewed Everton as a North End club and Liverpool have more supporters in the South End, religion slightly intertwines we this, because areas like in the North End, that were slum clearance areas from Scotty are mainly Catholic. Yet areas like L8, Aigburth, Speke, Netherley, Belle Vale, Garston, Mossley Hill and Halewood tend to have more Protestants and tend to be infested with RS.

The most Irish Catholic areas of the city, such as Scotty, Crocky, Noggsy, Fazakerley and Canny Farm tend to be home to loads of Blues, especially Crocky. Of course it doesn't matter anyway, but their claims to have this special link to Ireland is ridiculous, considering areas like Garston, Dingle, were orange lodge areas. They don't have a community program like we do and they ruined the area they play in, turning it into a no go area after dark, with their messing about. Not to mention the nonsense about them being loyal supporters, when they have only know success for half a century.

Better get parading quick smart then.
In someways it's just perfect.
They win it once in 30 years. It has a huge asterisk attached to it. They did it in an empty stadium with nobody watching and they don't get the parade they so desperately wanted. It's book ended between 2 titles for City (hopefully!) and it has effectively been forgotten already.
If Carlsberg did Premiership titles...
