I realise it is only a youtube clip but this kid looks like he can carry the ball, pass the ball forward under pressure and is decent from set pieces. Logn term Siggy replacement? only 25 in August.

He looks alright, him. Five minute highlight reels on youtube are rarely definitive, but he appears to be pretty mobile and confident with the ball. He's a regular starter for one of the better teams in the Bundesliga and he has a fairly good assists rate. I wonder what sort of fee Frankfurt would want?

I feel we could use a kinda quarterback-style centre mid who can drop deep and dictate the tempo of the game a bit, as our biggest issue currently does seem to be that we are struggling to play through the lines

It's easy to see why people start thinking that given the teams we put out

Oh yeah, we all do it but superficially because we have no idea or most of us don't, how these things actually transpire. It's easy peasy to build a side on paper or a screen, ask FM players. It's only an observation, i do it too.

correct... we have purchased players to easily unsuited that you question the capability of the people who recommended and then spent hours scouting them, drawing up reports etc.

I do wonder how clubs measure success of their scouts.. how are they paid and incentivized. What is deemed a pass mark? 2 out of 3 new first team recruits.. Niasse.. someone should have been fired
