Everton Summer transfers 2021

Any striker/forward that comes in will be to rotate through the PL and European games. I don't really get these shouts of bringing someone in to just sit on the bench and be happy with the odd cup game. DCL seriously can't be expected to play all those games otherwise we will just run him into the ground. We need to have another option even if it's just for the European games.

Kean

Carlo was talking about 4 or 5 signings for summer other day :)

Josh King, in all honesty , has'nt done much and talks of his wage demands were 130,000 a week does'nt seem a good squad option for us no matter what European competition we can qualify for ! We took years to trim down wage bill so why be mad and waste it on a bit player , if we've Kean to come back?

First choice right back is a cert to bring in and even keeping Coleman for last year of deal on 75,000 a week as back up is naive unless we'll start him on his coaching badges and bring him into back room coaching teams once his deal is up?

Olsen has done well as 2nd choice so for 5 million or whatever isn't a bad deal in reality

W've been linked with a Schalke lasd around 20 with a crazy name, Wanagama?/.?/§?, who s able to play across all front positions for 12 or 13 million so would rather him than King

Rabiot or another known head for midfield that Carlo/Brands agree on and throw in another unknown young lad like Jagne etc while getting rid of the rest of the dead weight and squad will be pretty sound!

Wamangituka? Absolutely would take. Plays for Stuttgart and can operate across the front 3 but mainly on the right (perfect). Has had an impressive goal return this season in the budesliga and only 21 to boot. Big, fast and powerful - exactly what we should be looking for.

Just watched his goals....

Hes rapid and reminds me of Aubameyang.

Regarding King and Olsen, I think we are happy with their experience so we could have them included into the squad.

We have possible transfers for Kean, Kenny and Bernard plus it will be interesting from the players out on loan who will be added to the first team squad.

In terms for signings for the starting XI, right back is priority and we all know the links to Aarons etc so I would be certain that this position will be filled ASAP.

We have to address the James situation of whether he will continue as part of our front three or he maybe the head of a diamond or slot into a three man midfield. In either case, I think we need to add to both centre midfield to upgrade what we have already in Gomes and Davies plus sign a right wing/forward again to improve on Iwobi and add extra pace instead of James.

Latest Players Linked:
Right Back - Aarons, Lamptey
Centre Mid - Rabiot, De La Cruz, Kokcu,
Right Wing - Bailey, Sarr, Wamangituka, Thauvin, Sima

Too early to write off King. I wasnt sure I wanted, him, but way too early to write him off too. When will people learn on here. Some things just require time and the right moment.

He was a competent PL forward. Judge him when he has actually played more than a cameo.

Sadly i would swerve Lamptey as he has been out for a while now with a hamstring injury and is now having to see a specialist about it which suggests a possible longer term problem, it's a shame as he is a talented lad no doubt.

Do you really think Kean is going to come back and play here next season?

Don't see it myself tbh.

If we get champions league then i think he'll return as he'll be getting alot of game time.

Id say from the list Aarons looks to be ideal for us + Wamangituka's goals look Aubameyang-esque...

Both u21 as well which helps in the long term.

Im hoping that the big signing is in Centre midfield

Arsenal Star Nicolas Pepe coming in off the bench in the 70th minute against Burnley now. Surely there must be SOMEONE like him we can attract?
I’m sure we could pump 72m on player with a hyperinflated price tag, yes.

if we’re spending 72mil on a bench warmer, this place would be in a volcanic heat level of meltdown

For me if we got European Qualification:

RB - Aarons
CM - Gravenberch
ST - Wamangituka

Very good potential with HUGE ability. Every signing is a risk but I think these players are looking for the next step so we could provide that and potentially take us and them further.

4-5 players seems about right if that’s true the number Carlo talked about.

RB
CM
RW
ST.

Aarons would be an excellent start, the CM not entirely sure what we need in terms of type but a progressive passer surely?

RW, someone who can beat a man please obviously goals as well.

Striker someone happy to sit on the bench, maybe someone of experience who can play a part here and there?

Just a Walcott clone
