I still like Bernard, quite like him to stay. He's another who if we can get performing to any sort of standard, has ability, Carlo is the man for this.

I think he was our best attacking player for large periods today...made much more of an impact than Iwobi. Decent player to have around for the run in.

I really don’t think he did too badly today. Looked dangerous when he drifted inside but didn’t do it enough (though nobody played particularly well in the first half especially). Is he worth his wages? Probably not, but I’m not mad he’s here until the end of the season - he has something to offer, just needs to be more consistent when called upon

He does remind me of Pienaar, just not anywhere near as consistent. His first season looked like him and Digne might go on to form a Baines Pienaar partnership but it hasn’t happened, has it?

Nope, circumstances are markedly different though now mate. He's a very able squad player for me. Doesn't get the stats but when he's on it knitting play together he's beyond most in our team.
He ain't the answer to our progress but he certainly isn't the problem right now.
