I agree that it may be useful to have him, but an unhappy player doesn’t perform. Depends how he feels.
Also Raiola clearly has a lot of influence with us, otherwise I am sure Kean would have been here this season. We don’t know what ungentlemanly agreements have been reached.

OK, I think today sorts what we need, and I haven't moved too much off of where I was in September.
We play 4-3-1-2 and to do that we need:
- A mirror image of Digne on the right
- An Allan clone
- A third striker
Do that, and we should be able to get through the injury storms more comfortably. Live with Pickford for now and commit all of the resources to getting the above solutions right.
The Allan clone may be controversial, but we saw today just how much having one of him on the pitch gets us forward. We can't rely on him being healthy, so we need another one.
Depth chart looks something like:
GK: Pickford, replacement backup, Virginia
LB: Digne, Godfrey, Nkounkou
CB: Keane, Godfrey, Mina, Holgate, Branthwaite
RB: New RB, Holgate, Coleman
Mid: Allan, Allan clone, Doucoure/Davies, Gomes, Delph. Gbamin is a ? that ideally is the Allan clone, but probably slots in further down.
10: James, Sigurdsson, Gomes
ST: Richarlison, DCL, new ST in some order
Sell Iwobi and Kean and use the funds to help pay for the buys. That ought to be competitive for top 4, and then we go all in to round out the squad and buy the Cadillac GK next summer to chase big hardware.
Loans can provide additional cover if desired (such as at ST) or permit us to ship Nkounkou and Branthwaite out for match time. If we can't resign Mina at the right price, we'll have to do something if Branthwaite isn't ready. We also need to address the Davies contract if we intend to keep him. We can run down Allan and Doucoure a year due to age if desired.
I'm sure many of you would like Gomes out, but that contract is an albatross and he'd probably look a lot better with two Allans covering for his weaknesses.
I'd love to extend Rodriguez, but I'm guessing he'll want to keep his options open.

Love Pulisic, don't think he suits the pieces we have (we'd need cover at the wings and we'd push Rico back out wide), don't think we should commit that much in resources to buying him.
I know he's a little fatty but would deffo take Isco as well as another mobile mid and a right back.
