Demba Ba

Serious question can I just ask what sort of player is Ba. I must admit I know his goal record is pretty tasty but I know little about the sort of player he may be if he came to Everton. Are we talking a hold the ball up/power house, Yak replacement or a more pacey striker or even someone with exceptional skill and ability like Saha? I just hope he compliments Beckford. A decent strike force could be a big step for Everton getting back in Europe and pushing on. Obviously Bas hasn't played a full season in the top division but I assume he can do the job. Just hope he has got over his injuries that made Stoke think twice about him.

As I posted earlier - my mates a season ticket holder at the Boleyn (bless him) - and reckons this kid is lightening quick, has two great feet, good awareness and knows how to stick it in the onion bag.....He got something like 7 goals in 12 games from mostly being played out wide by old Jabba the Hutt!!

I think we have a good chance of getting this fella. By all accounts we're up against Newcastle, Blackburn and Sunderland. Can't see him picking any of those over us. Would be a great signing if Moyes could pull it off.
