SOME OF THE ANCELOTTI PRE MATCH LIVERPOOL P/C

Calvert-Lewin and Allan return

Ancelotti confirms DCL and Allan are back for the derby
Gbamin and Mina are the only absentees tomorrow
Allan was out for two months. To have him back is really important for us in this period

Carlo on James

He's happy here, confident, motivated. He had a problem in the last few games with his calf but now he's in a good condition. I don't know if he complains about the weather, but we know it's not the best! There are other good things in this area."

Pickford criticism

Criticism is part of our job. Alisson knows this, Pickford knows this. You don’t have to put in the discussion their quality.
He is focused to prepare for the game. "He's focused to prepare the game. Of course he was not happy when the injury [to Van Dijk] happened but I think now he's focused only on the game

Carlo on Liverpool

It will be a different game. Every team has its own quality but what doesn't change is the difficulty of the game. Our motivation is really high because it's a derby & we want to compete against our neighbours

Carlo on Derby Aggression

It's important to be focused on what we are going to do on the game, to be brave and to be confident. At the end, we are going to play football and Liverpool will do the same

Carlo on Liverpool Game Plan

I think to play against Liverpool we have to compete on the intensity level they use in games. You have to try to find solutions up front because you cannot only defend against them. We are going to try to propose something tomorrow.

More on Allan

He can add more intensity, more concentration defensively but I have to say Tom Davies, who replaced him, most of the time did really well. I'm happy to have him back because I think the consistency of the team is going to improve

Carlo on Anfield chances of Winning

For sure they lost the support of their fans. In this sense, Anfield was one of the most difficult stadiums to play at... It's the same that happened to us & other teams in this particular season when you cannot have the support of your fans
It’s a long time that Everton won a derby. It could be the right time tomorrow. It depends on what we are able to do on the pitch & only this.

Carlo on Mina

He had a problem on his calf, he will be out for at least three or four weeks.

Carlo on James

James is not 100% but "99%" fit for tomorrow

Just listening to Ancelotti's pre - match interview, radio Merseyside fella says along the lines of "Merseyside derbies are passionate affairs, how do you stop your players from becoming over aggressive?" What a tw*t!

I hope we give them pussies nothing, I do feel however that the officials might produce an unjust Red for us to "Even the balance" from the 1st game and the perceived wrong doings that the officials came up with in that game at Goodison.

The ref will make it all about him tomorrow and about how he can adhere himself to the RS cult by letting them kick us all over the gaff without any retribution.

Based on that presser

Pickford

Holgate
Keane
Godfrey
Digne

Allan
Doucoure
Davies

James
DCL
Richarlison

Id prefer to see James infield for this one as their fullbacks will be down the line at every opportunity, I`d got for pace wide in Richarlison & King.......

Pickford

Holgate Keane Godfrey Digne

Allan Doucoure

King James Richarlison

Calvert-Lewin
Diamond also a possibilty, if the strikers track full backs........

Pickford

Holgate Keane Godfrey Digne

Davies

Allan Doucoure

James

Calvert-Lewin Richarlison

SOME OF THE KLOPP PRE MATCH EVERTON P/C

Injury news

Naby trained yesterday with the team so we will have to see what we make of it.
Fabinho was not in training. Fab gets closer, Milly gets closer, Diogo gets closer but not in time for the weekend.

Important to defend as a unit against Everton

It's very important we can defend as a unit on our highest possible level. Everyone knows how important the defence is for being successful. Leipzig game was a really good sign we can deal with mistakes from game before. We played a really good game

Alisson question

He is fine Alisson wasn't pictured at training this week but Klopp alleviates concern.
My confidence [in Alisson], nothing has changed. We are all human and he showed that in the last 2 games. Not a problem. It's work and he is doing that. He doesn't get up and think he is a world-class goalkeeper. Ali is too smart to ignore [the mistakes]. Completely normal."
He is so focused in games and I am not one second worried. He hasn't had the best times but the Leipzig game was a good one to get back to where we are now.

Klopp on Salah credit

You don't have to ask me why or if he doesn't get the credit. Would be unexplainable why he doesn't get the credit.
He does here for sure. One of my fave situations was when won a header in our box late on with Angelino waiting. He gets all the respect from us.

Klopp on Ancelotti

Everton had good teams, it's always been close. The manager helps each team in the world. Really good squad and team and maybe they are closer than ever before. In the position in the table for sure

An important day

I don't know what I'll think when the season over. Hopefully something nicer than [the Everton game in Oct]. It was an important day for sure.

Klopp on October Derby Motivation

Nothing will be carried over. A week later, two or three when we got the diagnosis for Virgil, it is good we didn't play Everton again, let me say it like this.
Now we just don't think about it, but it's still a derby and that's enough to be motivated.

Klopp on Keita

It's just unlucky. He could have been in the squad v Leipzig but it didn't make sense. So he stayed home and trained but he got ill and couldn't train until yesterday. We don't hold him back or force him in. It would be nice to have him

Klopp on Kabak Potential

Big potential. He's only 20. A lot of experience, not taken the easy way in his career so far. Was at Gala in Turkey and then moved to Germany, Stuttgart, Schalke and you have to fight. So that's good for his education. Both games really solid

Dont get caught on the ball , no back passes , always be prepared for the long ball over the top, dont let them referee the game, that's 90 percent of their chances gone if we do that.
FKN GET AT THEM.
