ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

If this is true, and to be fair I do think Liverpool would do that, then it shows what a manipulative narcissistic control freak he really is. German nationals can go to Germany for a bereavement but he would have had to isolate for 10 days on entry and then another 10 days when he came back. He chose not to. I thought the timing of the announcement of his mother's death was odd - not straight away but after the funeral he "couldn't" go to. He's given himself a free pass for the last month and their awful form now by manipulating the sympathy vote. I thought all of this at the time but considered myself to be a horrible person for even going there.
He suits the cult really well, the drama queens of football who wallow in self pity

Funny how the prem is crap, and they lose interest as its just not the same anymore....when they are not doing well.

It was the excat same once football re-started.

From RAWK:

I'd like to see Jurgen set the tone at the press conference by referring to the game at Goodison.

Managers need to call out thuggery for what it is, and call out referees for what they are. A carefully worded piece about Everton playing fair this time, how we need more protection (plus how Virgil's recovery is going) might help remind their players and the media just how poor that game was on every professional level. We need to keep adding to the narrative that violent play still exists, how it often goes unpunished, and that the level of match officiating needs to improve.

This game always generates huge media coverage and hopefully Jurgen can get in their players, managers, and the match officials heads before a ball is kicked, whilst giving the journalists the soundbites to set the stage.

HAHAHAHAHA

HAHAHAHAHA

That would be the most stupid thing they could do. It would just mean Robertson, VVD and Mane would have got sent off in the last derby.

Hopefully Ancelotti highlights their thuggery and that we need protection.

I agree.
We need some journo's or pundits highlighting the repeated & persistent diving & cheating
by Mane & Salah. I don't think Ancelotti will do it as he's not that kind of a guy.
But someone high profile with Everton links / connections should do it.
Andre Mariner on VAR duty as well. Hmmm....

Not sweep it under the carpet.

Ancelotti needs to bring up the death threats sent to Pickford, his wife and his little child. That those who hype what was an unfortunate accident up are partially complicit in this violence towards women and children.

Overall I don't worry about us. We are not a dirty team, it was an accidental collision. I worry they will be dirty especially after the previous few derbies, and ultimately get away with it again. So again, hopefully Ancelotti can make mention of that, and say protection works both ways.

I also hope we are ready for gamesmanship on Saturday. If a player gets kicked, roll about, surround the ref etc.

I hope Liverpool do see this as their big opportunity to right a percieved wrong, and spend the game trying to kick us. A scrappy game, with lots of free kicks suits us. We just have to ensure we milk the contact like they do.

The right wing media will of course be a disgrace in the lead up to this.
