Not a particularly good performance from Branthwaite tonight from what I've seen but no one on Blackburn team played well
It’s good experience for Branthwaite if he gets a load of games . You could see his inexperience at times tonight , at least he never gave a penalty away, something I’m sure we’ll train into him .
The whole reason young players go on loan is to have these experiences and learn from them. Hope he keeps his chin up because Jarrad looks a cracking player in the making.

...I thought he might be a LB a few seasons ago but he’s a big old unit and I’d have concerns about his mobility in that position. I like him lots but I can’t see a future for him here.

Yeah he's a player I like the look of but as you always warn a bad loan move can wreck a career. I'm hoping he might go down the Holgate route and be able to cover both positions. However centre back is a position in which we are currently well stocked. Maybe sell him in the summer with a buy back clause.
