Everton Summer transfers 2021

It's worth statung as well, that 60-100m will go a lot further, even than last summer. There was a 65-70% collapse in January. Essentially you get 3 x as much for your money in simplistic terms. Even if it's not as dramatic, you could easily get twice as much for your money this summer, and we areobviously spending it better.

We spent around 65m this summer. Imagine doing that but twice. Wow.

I think you've got that wrong mate.

Transfer volumes were down for sure but I'm not sure there's any evidence to say transfer fees were lower?

I don't think we will have a net spend this summer. Hopefully we will get £30m for Kean, £7 million for Kenny and maybe a few million for some of our other dross.
If you are hoping to get £7M out of Celtic for Kenny you are sadly mistaken.
Their best offer will be around the £2M-£3M mark, and that is before any budget restrictions are imposed on them due to Covid.
Sadly we will probably probably bite their hand off that due to the lack of other offers.

All players out of contract in the summer. Make it so Marcel, we don’t need Ramos though Godfrey will do
Had a read of this before. I'd take Fabianski, me. It'd also create a need for a keeper at West Ham, who are surely a prime target of a club to offload Pickford to.

I also really like the IDEA of Depay but the reality is he'd probably just flop again if he came back to the PL. Aguero would be unreal but he'd probably think that coming to be backup to DCL would be a step down, the lunatic.

No I mean thats is a bit of a jump, but inevitably if less money is spent, it tends to mean fees will follow (even if not quite as much). I think the fact that players like King moved for under £5m is good evidence of depreciation.

I would very happily punt Pickford and sign Olsen and Fabianski.

I think they need to take you into the negotiating room with Sergio mate, tell him straight. “Listen kid, you got 23 goals in all comps last season. 30 the year before, 33 the year before that. Listen to your body mate, you’re on the decline. Now you can either get on the Carlo gravy train and end your career on a high or end up on the scrap heap at West Ham and dissipate out of the game in a whimper. What’s it going to be Serg?”

Depends on where we finish
If no Europe 30-40m
If Europa 60m
If CL then Usmanov may run amok and 100m would not surprise me

That’s was a complete waste of time lol

so basically you are happy with everyone.

1) we will sign a RB, Kenny won’t be coming back. And Coleman will most likely be 3rd choice as I can still see Holgate/Godfrey stepping in at times, before Coleman

2) RW Will also be upgraded, I still think they wouid sell iwobi for a decent price, if they got offered one. I think they will want 4 quality players to cover the front 3 , including James. With 2 more good back up IE king and a back up. Striker.
Kean also won’t be coming back .

3) Olsen may get bought but he will be back up to hopefully I new number one. Ancelotti isn’t happy with Pickford, the question is can we move him on?

4) I think we will also buy another midfielder, Davies & Gomes have both done ok, but you wouldn’t want them 2 to play 30 league games next season. Again I would be up for selling Gomes, Delph & Siggurdsson. And bringing in another top class midfielder.

Of course a lot will depend on where we finish in the league and who we can offload. But to kick on again, we need 5 new players

We spent 60 last summer with virtually no sales
It will be more than 30/40. that’s one decent player. Ancelotti is not here to mess about.

And don’t give me ffp and big loses. FFP was a much bigger issue this time last year and all the journalists amd ITK’s said we wouldn’t spend a penny.

We should be able to get a lot of money off the wage bill and bring in some sales
Kean? So I can see us spending a few quid.
Especially when you see what ancelotti has done with this squad. Surely Moshiri & usmanov are not going to waste his talents

£50 Million for Kean.

Bail more wages of fringe players.

RB CM RW GK

RW has to be more of a wide forward though.

On the one hand, lets say we keep King, Olsen and Kean + move out Kenny, Bernard, Tosun, Delph and other fringe players.

Those savings and sales would generate funds to bring in a top right back, also a cash injection from Moshiri for a super central midfielder and we already look like a far superior team on paper than last summer -- especially with our players all having a years more experience.

If those 2 signings are top quality then theres no reason to expect less than a top 6 push.

On the other hand, if we move on the same players as well as Kean + Gomes, Sigurdsson and Keane (peak value) and Moshiri opens up a large chunk of funds such as £100mil then we could really have over £200mil to spend on taking the next step into the top 4.

My guess is that we'll end up doing something in the middle but either way the expectations are positive.
