ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Well they have all turned on Carragher because he won't follow the narrative and basically dared to suggest that their issues stretch further beyond the injuries to St Virgil of Van Dijk and Gomes, go have a look in the Klopp thread on there it's hilarious honestly.
Putting my head in that rabbit hole is a step too far for me, but from the conversations I've had this morning I can already suspect what they'll spout.

"The press are against us... there's an agenda... we're mistreated." They simply do not like the idea of their club and their Dear Leader Klopp facing criticism.

The Everton Thread isn’t popular on RAWK anymore now that we’re breathing down their necks.

Its a very strange thread that.

They just don’t get it do they, they think we are fuming about drawing to united.....yet then we are made up for "winning a draw", I’m confused...which is it!?!

For a bunch of ppl that support a scouse team...they don’t get scouse humour either... certainly baffled by self-deprecating humour….they genuinely believe the club released a single when we started the season well!!!
They are such a cult…..I live in Bolton, so obviously in watsap groups with lads from round here…even they constantly laugh at them, and the bizarre ‘cultness’ of anyone who follows them.

You can guarantee, that an obvious decision given against them….only their fans will blindly defend it in any way. I’ve never known a fan-base do that….make up new terms and new positions, and new “rules” for everything.

I know a few reds, well loads of them. Not 1 scouser…..not 1 match going fan…and they completely change when the subject of that team comes up…its like a switch is flicked…or a key word triggers them turning into a Cultist soldier.

Appaently signing a 40 odd mil attacker and dee best midfeelder in dee werld in the Summer for 30 odd mil (while selling none of their star players) doesn't count as an attempt to strengthen the squad

Did they not spend not far of £100 million in the summer ??

It’s effectively setting a precedent that any contact whatsoever in the penalty area is now a penalty, and by extension any contact anywhere else is a foul. If a defender touches an attacker at a corner - penalty. If two players jostle for a ball going out of play - penalty. The fact it didn’t even go to VAR is disgraceful.
Mane and Salah apart from the theatrics are brilliant players no doubt, but what helps them enormously is the fact, defenders know they can not get too close to them, as they know the result, a penalty. They know the slightest touch will mean they scream, throw their arms up in the air and collapse in so called agony, which in 9 times out of 10 results in a pen. They can say everyone does it, but nobody does it better and referees seem to want to fall for it. Sickening thing is the media commentators seem to accept it with glee, until they start questioning it like they do with other teams players, they'll continue to do it.

This is a massive advantage. If Richarlison starts a game clattering people. He might get two of them before he’s on a yellow card. Same with Allan. Henderson meanwhile knows that he can get away with far far more before there’s even a sniff of a yellow card heading his way. It allows them to set a far more physical agenda which they’ve be fitted from for years. Equally if one of our plyers gets in the box opposition defenders know that it is highly unlikely we’ll get a penalty. We therefore are subject to, shirt pulling, leaning, pushing as we’re trying to get shots off. Liverpool’s attackers know that a defender can’t even touch them in any capacity otherwise it’s a guaranteed penalty, same with United. It’s just a completely different game for them, they always have a half yard to turn, or take a touch, or get a shot or pass off.

I just don't get this school of thought, i mean they spent money like others did but Klopp and the recruitment team chose to spend that money on an extra midfielder and start the season with 3 CB despite them having to play in 4 competitions not FSG.

Henry won’t like this, they’ve shelled out world record fees and world record amounts not that long ago. This concerted and coordinated effort by the media to give the fans a scapegoat will not go down well.

FSG broke their own principles by allowing Klopp to get Thiago (over their usual age profile, massive wages, big fee), Jota (humongous fee 40 mill plus one of their youth players practically 50 mill). They then went back in January which they don’t like doing to spend money on a stocking plaster.

Klopp let Hoever and Van Der Berg leave the club, then the owners had to bring in two centrebacks in January as he was moaning too much. It won’t look good. FSG will be sat there absolutely incredulous that they’re receiving any blame for this whatsoever.
