Everton Summer transfers 2021

We really do need a right back who can mirror Digne, our right side is hardly productive at all. The only time it is is typically when hames picks the ball up and switches it to richy or Digne on the left. It's a big weak link.

Coleyman not starting anymore must spell the end for him and as much as I like the bloke he isn't good enough either going forward or defensively so hey ho. Always been a big fan of Bellerin but he seems to have worked his way back into Tetas plans. The fact we are playing Holgate at RB ahead of the only recognized rb at the club speaks volumes. No doubt we will be prioritizing it for the summer.

Digne seems good going forward but struggles defensively.

You think? I would try and pull, them 2, I feel they are more solid and what we need

Depends really...id go for the potentially world class player over 2 very good ones.

Just look at the difference James makes -- having that level of player makes the difference.

This is why you want Emerson WOW

Good play that but not 'wow' for me...

Wow had been when he gets the ball at RB deep in his half and bombs down the line like a train -- past their players like they dont exist then putting crosses in.

Now, when he has space he gets hacked down...

Last season brilliant but this season hes not hit the heights as oppositon teams dont give him the space Barca just did.

He'd be a revelation for us...

Where will we get our funds this summer? Selling Kean?
Sell him, loads of players' wages off the books from end of contract, potentially sell Delph, Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Bernard, Tosun, etc. To fill what we need (minimum right back, right wing, striker, hopefully keeper) we'll need an additional 50m on top of 30m for Kean and whatever else we can shift.

21 players

GK: Pickford / Virginia
RB: ??? / Holgate
CB: Godfrey / Mina / Keane / Branthwaite
LB: Digne / Nkounkou
DM: ??? / Gbamin
CM: Allan / Doucoure / Gomes / Sigurdsson / Davies
LF: Richarlison / Gordon
RF: James / Iwobi
CF: DCL / Kean

Moving on:
Coleman
Olsen (loan expires)
Besic (out of contract)
Delph
Bernard
Tosun
Kenny
King (out of contract)

Decisions
King (option to extend)
Olsen (possible purchase)
Gbamin (has the injury affected him)
Sigurdsson (1 year remaining)
Gomes (inconsistent)
Keane (peak value)
Pickford (error riddled)
Kean (big money sale)
Iwobi (flopped)
Gordon (loaned again)
Branthwaite (loaned again)
U23s (Onyango/Small/others)

Quite a lot of things to consider this summer. You have to worry about Brands' contract here and whether we can hit the ground running or a new DOF starts from scratch.

Top 4 would be massive for us.

Ins:

1. Left foot winger to play at RW. Can't recall the last time Everton actually had a decent left footed winger who can cut inside.
2. RB
3. LW
4. New "forward thinking CM"
5. A proper striker. Not a winger-striker hybrid like Richy.

Out:

1. Besic
2. Bernard
3. Sigurdsson
4. Iwobi
5. Gbamin (if anyone takes him)

Check out Antony at Ajax...

Our wage bill was 162m last accounts Spud.
And Corona has cost us 60m+ and counting.
Your move spudster.
well if we finish in the top 8 this season we should expect around 120- 140 mil this season with tv money and prize money

we also have our most lucrative shirt sponsor with cazoo paying i believe 10 mil every season

we have plenty of players out of contract in the summer which will result in a significant saving on wages

for example

bolasie - 3.9 mil
besic - 1.5 mil
walcott - 5.2 mil
pennington - 1 mil

almost 12 mil saved in wages

the club will also still make money from selling merchandise and securing other sponsorship deals, who knows what uncle uzzy will sponsor next

and this is all before player sales

yes i do expect brands to try his best to get rid of tosun and bernard and if the money is right i would also expect kean to leave

as much as i would love us to get rid of delph and sigurdsson, no clubs are gonna buy them and pay their wages so i can see them staying till their contracts expire at the end of next season
