Demba ba has proved in the past he has zero loyalty , although he is a real talent and deserves real wages , I'd be suprised if Everton were his preference , he will go were ever the money is IMO , and my gut feeling is we will miss out on this one ( hope iam wrong )
 

When we have a player like Victor anichebe at our great club and is actually starting games i don't think we can be too picky. At least bothroyd knows where the net is, Victor has scored 12 goal in nearly 100 games that just isn't good enough. Bothroyd might turn out to be a terrible signing but he cant be much worst than what we already have.

Was Beckford "Everton Class" when we signed him, i think not and hes done well in his first season

The thing is we now need a top striker as was shown last season.
We have saha class on his day but injured a lot,we have beckford raw but good and still needs time,we have velios and anichebe also still learning to playin the premiership,bothroyd is not what we want ,we need someone who can play at this level now a proven onion bag man.

I agree but its all about who is avalible and how much we have to spend, he may not be the best option but he is a option and i would rather have him on the bench to come on than Vic or Velios but thats just my view and not nes the right one

Hear wot your saying man if he was our only option i would have kept vaughan before going for him .
Lets just hope there is a bit of wonga and we can raise our expectations

Agreed mate hope Ba signs this week and is the start of some new fresh faces coming in
 

Beckford should be 3rd choice. The rest sold off.

We need a 'Ba' type as 2nd choice and also a top forward as 1st choice OR a young player like a Wellbeck who can compete with Beckford/Ba
