Same old Everton inferiority complex performance at Old Trafford. All this optimistic talk of top four is utter guff as long as we reliably turn up at Old Trafford and Anfield and meekly submit to our betters.

The likes of James have got to step it up. And three defeats in a row to United - a team we battered 4-0 in recent memory - is abysmal from Carlo. United have a better squad than us, but their first XI isn't unbeatable as Sheffield United proved. We just turn up and pay tribute and I, for one, am sick of it. Top four is delusional talk. We're a mid-table side with pretensions, a self-regarding West Ham.
