It's annoying because we are a better club that both those teams, we have more potential to be finishing high than them yet he might just go there because they'll offer him an extra 10k a week. Ffs why do they have to be so greedy?! Join the Toffees Ba, you'll be a rich man anyway.

i like the way you think , but your thinking like a supporter not a footballer . but i happen to agree with everything you say .

If you could work at another company - doing the same job - and earn 10k more a week would you not do so?

Yeah fair point. I just really want him to sign and if he's like most footballers he wants to be playing at the most prestigious level possible, I think at Everton he will be in a better position for this than at the other 2 clubs.

it depends, if I was getting paid an ridiculous amount of money no matter which company I went to I probably go to the one which would be better for my career. As Everton supporters we obviously think from a footballing point of view that that is us but I suppose it's possible that from a players point of view if we can't offer players the same sort of wages as other clubs then we're not going to be able to attract the same calibre of players giving the impression that they are infact in a better position than we are. this has more often than not been proven not to be the case though
 

I think he'll go to Newcastle, they have some cash to spend, although I think they're after N'Zogbia again also
 
It's not quite that simple is it Great Dane? I would be looking at other factors too, like what I would learn to help my development, competition for places (which at Goodison will mean he has more chance of attaining his bonus'), whether there was a genuine chance of getting silverware, canteen decor,& whether Nev's gonna get bored of tweeting...

I know Sunderland are looking at saving cash as well at the moment, so i'm guessing it could be fine margins between everyone he's talking to.
