Disgusting performance at home to a rival, system wasnt working from 1st minute yet didnt make any changes until they had equalised. We cant keep getting lucky when lying deep.. distance between midfield and Dom was scanadalous and meant nothing stuck up top. Dont think the Digne LW project works, shouldve went with him at LB and put Godfrey to the right as Mason gives us absolutely nothing going forward. Iwobi shouldve started in front of him.

Disappointed, but, we didn’t play well and were too cautious in the second half. When we took the game to Leicester towards the end, we had 3 good chances. A decent point and on to Newcastle.

As bad as we played tonight, it’s blunders like that from Pickford the separate the best from the rest. We should have ‘found a away’ there despite how poor we were, but ultimately two dreadful moments (initial corner and attempted save) from the goalie have prevented us from capitalising on the other results tonight. Whether we deserved 3 points or not him being typically him cost us.

This season the way the table is, the teams which are brave enough are up there. You can't say the likes of West Ham and Leicester are overall better than Everton with the squad of players at disposal. Leicester have been coached extremely well which makes their team look positive and up for a challenge. Everton is just happy to be the small Everton happy with 7th or 8th, citing "injuries", "bad luck" etc etc.

We basically have no goal scoring plan unless its a cross from Digne. Our CM is the most uncreative in the PL. Docoure looks good because he tries to go forward and support the attack, which no one else from our midfield does.

We are still relying on a long ball to DCL where the CF is against 3 defenders with no one eager to sustain and shift attack right - center - left trying to look for angles, getting past full backs.

How will you win a FK or multiple corners if you don't have the quality or desire to go for the win?

Do one Carlo and Brands.

Leicester were the more positive team and maybe did deserve at least a draw, but still - Pickford gave away a needles corner which eventually leads to the shot he should have saved but didn’t.

Expect a new keeper in the summer. Pickford is nowhere near reliable enough unfortunately.

I think we gave them far too much respect. It's fricken Leicester without Vardy.

Having said that, Ancelotti's tactics nearly worked. Only one flaw, he had Picford in net.

Eh, sitting back for so long just isn't sustainable. As you said, they didn't even have Vardy.

Okay some silver lining on this cloud. Michael Keane is a collosus in defence. Davies played very well. Godfrey started well but was exposed as the game went on. Could argue we lost that game rather than won it but I'm sure Leicester fans will feel the same way.
Davies needs to be punted asap

Embarrassing performance that 2nd half. No intent to play the game, apart from 25 mins in the first half. Worked for a couple games and we told ourselves it was a great defensive performance when there was as much luck involved as anything else.. We have lost many points this season because of this mindset. Happy to play second fiddle against teams we have no reason to fear.

After the goal we lifted our game just 5% to be barely acceptable and the defense found it much easier and we even created the best chance of the half at the end... Hate this about our psyche.. this absolute lack of interest in competing for the ball and adding a second after getting ahead.

I said I would be disappointed at a point and I am more than that. Three points here was huge as a gap is starting to open up and we didn't show up in the second half.

Shergar has the last laugh, but still bit off more than he could chew!
