Funny how the Red Echo writers for LFC can call FSG "borderline negligent" for not signing a CB this window
Can you imagine Kirkbride or one of the Everton writers saying that about our board.
Just shows how neutured the Everton lads are in comparison to that lot who can take pot shots at the ownership if they wish knowing they have the mafia behind them.
I said earlier in this thread this morning to keep an eye on who played full strength and who didn't (and specifically mentioned Henderson and Matip). Klopp clearly had Tottenham in mind rather than that game today. United were the team looking to play and work hard and put themselves on the line.
That game today was enough for me to draw the conclusion that Solkksjaer doesn't have the ambition to win the title. It was a good time to send out a much changed team against a Liverpool team out of sorts and looking to leave the cup aside. It tells me that Solksjaer is pretty clueless and a bit desperate to win a piece of silverware - any silverware. Liverpool just want the title. Klopp will jettison everything from their schedule that gives them a workload they cant possibly cope with.

Giving him half an hour run out before Thursday. The Spurs game is huge for Liverpool.Fair enough mate. I didn't get that at all. I got that Liverpool were trying just as much, why bring Mane off the bench if needs be? They are just not very good currently. I think Klopp has completely killed their intensity.

It is Spurs with a game they are under pressure to win, though. My head says they win, my instinct tells me they'll cave in as they always do.Just need Spurs to not lose that game and the pressure cranks up another notch.
You just love to see it

We need a draw between spurs and the RS. Its nice to see them struggling but we can't want Spurs to win surely?Just need Spurs to not lose that game and the pressure cranks up another notch.

10 years ago, they were in relegation zone with
Jokanovic, Joe Cole, Paul Koncheskey and Christian Poulsen....
What god given right do they have to be so arrogant?
The interesting thing is though mate, the Echo lads who coever Liverpool have never really had a pop at FSG before. Go and see posh boy Pearce's slavish devotion to them. That is quite a headline for them, and shows all is not well behind the scenes.

If they take the lead, yes. If Liverpool do they'll sense a turning point.I think all the pressure is on the rs, they've really put themselves under the microscope and they are struggling.
It will be interesting to see what side Mourinho puts out tonight against Wycombe and who he rests for Thursday.
I think Spurs is the absolute worst game the rs could have atm. If Spurs take the lead they'll look to stifle the life out of them.
It's one of them games, that a draw really doens't work for Liverpool. I suspect Mourinho knows that. That if he can stay in the game for 60, Liverpool will run out of ideas. He will be well aware a draw damages a rival more than it probably damages Spurs at this point.
Spurs are a bunch of bottlers, but Mourinho is the x factor there. He won't be making it an open game like OGS did
