ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Whats disgraceful about it, is you suffered exactly the same injuries last season. You had to play a teenage Garcia for large portions of games if memory serves, and the DM in midfield next to him got injured as well (Fernandino). Aguero and KDB injured for large stretches too. Nobody cried for City, or even mentioned it. It was just that Pep is past it.

I had assumed this was parody content, not real???

but on the Man City point, they didnt have to play Garcia and Fernandino, Pep had Stones and Otemendi, another 100m worth of CB's he chose to ignore.

That may be fruitful in the long term, but not a valid comparision

I have no more words

Is Kloop injured too?

Or is that long list of 3 injured players shown before his grizzled fizzog appeared the long list in total? The one with an actual injury and 2 permacrocks that they should have known they'd have to manage when they got shot of Lovren without replacing him.

Very poor indeed.

If they fail to win the league this year and everything goes back to normal, it’s almost like that 30 year wait for the title never happened last year.. I take great pleasure it not seeing their fans celebrate properly and them lifting the trophy in front of a few groundsmen and journalists!! Hahahaha
Last year City got criticised in the media as 'the worst defence of a title in years' and that was after
we finished second and had won it for 2 years on the trot before that.
How long before the media start saying this about Liverpool?
I won't hold my breath...

TAA is crap.... anyone who cares to vault me will see I’ve said this since he first came on the scene,,,, massively overhyped defender who can’t defend, I don’t understand the hype every player at that club gets whenever they start playing for them.... wisdom, flannaggan, Brewster, taa, keita .... the list goes on and on.... bog standard players.
Agree with this, hugely overrated by the media. Here's an amusing example from Micah Richards, which also features a couple of other side-splitters:

"Trent Alexander-Arnold has the potential to become England’s greatest right back. Joe Gomez is the best young English central defender to emerge in the last 10 years. Virgil van Dijk could play in any era."

Oh dear. I genuinely thought that was you doing one of your impressions of him.

Thats pretty damning. It's quite a clear break with the board/FSG which have always been quite united to this point. A split between them and Klopp can only be a good thing. When Benitez started taking on the establishment, it all went tits up for them quickly.

What it also says to me, is that Klopp clearly wanted players brought in, but the money hasn't been made available/wasn't available.
