ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I 'kin loathe Firmino, but "Bobby" is a common diminutive form of "Robert/Roberto". It's not quite the same thing.

"Richarlison" is our player's surname, and "Richie" just a nickname that some of our fans use.

Personally I think both are cringe.

Cant agree there mate. Pretty sure South Americans don’t shorten Roberto to Bobby!!

Both of them are nicknames and commentators shouldn’t be using them.

Like I said in my original post is there another player in the league that gets referred to by their first name / nickname by a commentator?

That just confirms everything we already know about SKY and the media in general.

Whats disgraceful about it, is you suffered exactly the same injuries last season. You had to play a teenage Garcia for large portions of games if memory serves, and the DM in midfield next to him got injured as well (Fernandino). Aguero and KDB injured for large stretches too. Nobody cried for City, or even mentioned it. It was just that Pep is past it.

We've had at least as many injured.
Richarlson
James
Allan
Digne
Coleman
Holgate
Gabamin
DCL
Delph
And 7 of those you would consider first team players.

Keane and Mina have missed games too (Mina being half fit cost us the derby to be fair, I'm not slating him as he's been excellent but he did). We have had to put a right footed centre half at left back, who's younger than 1 of their "kids" who they refuse to play in position.

He definitely can’t tackle at all. How he wasn’t booked for the lunge on wood in the second half is beyond me.

James isn’t in the same league as him tho apparently. ‘There are levels to this game’ they told us haha!

James isn’t in the same league. James is a few leagues higher quite clearly. James has more world class passes in a match than Thiago has to show for his whole season. Thiago moves the ball about sideways a lot and sprays looping cross field balls with no danger on them. I’ve not seen him make one killer pass. He’s done nowt for Spain whilst James lit up a World Cup. He’s not even particularly good at retaining possession when he’s pressed. He’s a decent player but the likes of Xabi Alonso were miles better than him. James, De Bruyne, Fernandes, he’s nowhere near them in the prem, nowhere near. Tielemans is more useful than him.
