Haven't people realised, still, that when expectation is on our troops they just can't handle it and fall to pieces? It happens every time, few examples include:

1. Having the best chance in a decade to beat Liverpool last year when they sent out their u18 reserves against our full strength team, and we got battered.
2. Winning 4 games on the run and having extra days off before facing a poor West Ham side with the chance to go within a point of Liverpool, only to have them play us off the park and beat us.
3. Going further back, playing utterly terrible teams in Europe such as Dinamo Bucharest and being roundly hammered and humiliated 5-1.

Our brave soldiers don't 'do' pressure, for example when we're expected to smash a struggling Championship side that will almost certainly get relegated this season, at home.
