Is Jagielka is as good as some people think.
He can't pass and is always sliding in last ditch tackles (doesn't read a game well and has no pace)
Classic mistake was against Wigan where he was the only defender playing Nzogbia in on goal (the other 3 stood up for what looked like an offside trap).

I don't know why anyone would want to see that partnership, both are prone to errors. I'd like to see Jags and Heitinga, who would be able to play the ball out of defence.

Heitinga is a quality centre back, he showed that last year when he had a run of games there
Ive slated him all season in centre mid but to be fair to him its not his position and he's always said he is a centre back and thats where we've seen him play his best football for us

I don't rate him, sorry. He has no awareness, he gets sucked into midfield, he always gets beat in the air, he either wusses out of tackles or gives away needless fouls, he has no pace, he has no discipline and he's always looking for glory rather than just doing his job. Apart from that he's ace!

Jags has his faults too: he can panic and his distribution is pretty woeful, but when he's on form it's very difficult for anyone to get passed him. This season hasn't been one of his finest, but he showed towards the end flashes of getting back to his best.

Yobo was ace for years and I was sorry to see him go on loan. I'd hoped he and Moyes would sort out their differences but it seems he will go. I'm sure the board will negotiate and extra £500k or some add ons. Even though he was error prone he was a great servant to the club.

I don't think it does in this situation. Get him back as cover. I'd rather he sat on the bench as cover for 3 years than sell him for the figure mentioned.
