Miguel Angel Ruiz, sport director of the Valencia, works "quickly" to find an exit to Manuel Fernandes, that was arrested after carrying out an argument in a discoteca to high hours of the dawn. The Portuguese midfield player will go away yielded to the Everton.

Now that is like journalism straight out of the Magna Carta.

Damn, was about to post the translation. Beat me to it.

Imagine this in a deep booming Spanish accent laced voice:

"WILL GO AWAY YIELDED TO THE EVERTON"

Hope we sign him, he is exaclty what we need, consider the 4-5-1 formation, it is a formation based around passing, and fernandes is fantastic at finding a pass, perfect for yakubu to thrive on. Even though he is abit inconsistent he will change in time...He is a centre mid, which will make more competition in the midfield (and means neville will haev less of a chance playing there!!). Also when he does his skill the fans love it, get motivated which in turn motivates the players...

Now that paragraph above is a perfect for convincing people to buy him (Y)...the signs are showing a fernandes move, how good would that be, just in time for chelsea, man bity and brann...perfect.

As it looks most likely as expected he did come back on-loan with a view of transfer in the summer, but still early day we should see if a loan deal happen!

Although I am fully behind with the idea of having him back, we needed him more than ever as Osman still out, Pienaar out of Man City game, and that is a important one and he did fit right into our system straight away having spent first half of this year with us!

Oh Ye of Little Faith

Valencia midfielder Manuel Fernandes'agent has announced that the 21 year old player has been engaged by Everton. Fernandes has already played for The Toffees in the last season

Search around - you'll find Spanish press and TV talking about it - Ian Ross about the discussions in Spain with Valencia, Manny's agent, Valencia's President agreeing negotiations are being conducted etc.

Both sides are jostling financially, Everton have gained an unexpected bargaining tool due to Manny's arrest on Thursday, bad karma in Spain - scandal is seriously frowned upon- VALENCIA WANT RID!!!

Come on Manny boy - back to the Blues - [Poor language removed] hell we're going to be awesome

I would imagine that part of any delay may well be investigations into what, if any, legal repercussions the arrest may have (considering that some reports mention assault on police officers).

The thing is this...........as you can tell, im not in favour of bringing him back. Does'nt matter who's fault is was that he was at goodison ready to sign. Was given the red carpet treatment an then fukked off to spain.

IF.....

If he was resigned, as soon as he put an everton shirt on id support him to the hilt. Im an evertonian, i love my club unconditionaly, it rules my life. If you ware the everton coulors im always behind you. Also if he does come back i want him to do really, really well. I dont want him to fail, why would i?. He showed somtimes he had a bit of class about him,yes but he never showed it enough.

I am bitter about what happened but like others have said, i trust im moyes and what he's doing.

Onwards and Opwards............:D :D (y)

Ghost i Might not be on board, but iv already write this!!! :D

Well I'm not convinced that its a deal yet. All the noises seem to be coming from ambiguous sites, and nothing as yet on the top sites.

Why is Ian Ross (our PR guy) never selling the club on major platforms, always on some obscure Spanish third rate sports site?
