Really hope its James centrally and Carlo has realised we need pace out wide.

Iwobi out wide until January then upgrade in a proper wide player like Zaha/Bailey.

Iwobi doesn't do enough defensively to be played in the middle imo atleast with James in there you know he'll make things happen offensively regardless of his lack of defending.

Can't see Iwobi playing full back, the kid doesn't know what day it is by the confused look he always has on his face, so I wouldn't trust him with defensive tactics!

I agree on that but Godfrey ain't a full back either and Holgate can definitely play there so i find it strange that he hasn't gone with him. Might be just to give him game time I suppose.

Probably the team I would’ve gone with. Not entirely convinced Iwobi can play the “third man” role but for me he’s well above Gomes in the pecking order

When I saw Iwobi on the team sheet , I thought " why " then I came to the same conclusion as you .

Can't argue with the team at all, but the bench really highlights the awful quality we have available outside of the starting xi. If we're down after an hour, I have no faith in any of those players to be able to come on and make a difference.

While we have fapper in goal who does not command his box we defend far too deep..
