I gave Moyes a metric [Poor language removed]-ton of crap before the game, for that dour team selection. I stand by that, in addition to some suicidal tactics (take your set pieces properly ffs).

But at half time he manned up and made subs. Anichebe on the right was just fantastic. Like last season -- remember, when we got excited about him again? If he wants him to get confidence, he needs to play him in a position he can cope with. And he was thoroughly excellent there.

Then Distin... of course. Making amends for a bad mistake that lead to their goal, he crashes a thunderous header into their net. Lescott... who? And then Ossie -- our best player for the past 3 months -- leaping more than someone of his stature should ever be able to, to score a fine, fine winner.

That makes us the only team to do the double over Mancini at all, never mind twice! A delicious double.

[Poor language removed] you sheik-toy supporting, Poznan spastics. Piss right off.

It was hugely significant that Vic showed some desire, provided a lot of presence in the game and his desire to track back was refreshing. I can only hope he keeps demonstrating the passion that Everton fans expect.

Trouble is, if City had taken half their chances in the first 50+ minutes the changes would have meant **** all. Their profligacy got us back into the game.

You're insufferable. Why must you spunk misery over such an unlikely, and thus (for the fans) fantastic, win?

RFUS, I love some humble pie myself mate!

I'll always eat it, mate. Credit and critique where it's due; that's my motto!

Shocking first half, but thankfully he had the balls to change it. If we'd not won I'd have asked why he didn't start like that, but we did, so I can't complain. As long as Moyes doesn't start the next game with the same lineup he did this game, I'll be happy.

So if City would have taken their chances we'd have been in that game?

Decent result against a CL bound club. But apart from a bit of graft they bossed Everton until the hour mark.

* Quick, before people get to optimistic, i have a feeling the word Kenwright is approx 10 posts away. Your letting the side down here mate, just be happy.

There you go again, FACT is they did'nt. Football is all about taking chances, we took 2 they took 1so we win they lose. And if we are playing that game, if everton had taken all there chances this season in games well we would be higher than city. If but's and maybe's
