LOL, he is not jesus bro. We can praise him when we play well and we can criticise him when we don't. He will be the first to admit he got it wrong.

ULTIMATELY, he is the boss, if we do not perform then he has to be accountable at some point. If it was just one player then fair enough, if the whole team does not turn up,. then I question his motivational ability.Same as the end of last season, we never turned up for plenty of games, he is the boss, he has to address that.

who could we have picked tho? Gordon playing would have meant whichever side of the pitch he was on would have had him and the full back having about 4 prem games experience between them. Davies ? He’s worse than anyone that started... I don’t like Mina tbh and Godfrey and Keane would have been a better choice imo . Iwobi couldn’t have started after that performance last week .... his options are limited to crap players so it’s logical that the performance would be crap too .

I hate Wilson with a passion. And I don't like our team much without our ballers. There is no excuse not to play the ball in front of the player to go forward instead of always behind and that then causes them to turn and play backwards. No tempo, no threat will embolden sides to go for us.

Said it when we were doing well. We will probably finish in the top ten. We have too many average and slow players. No invention when James is out. No threat up front when Richy is out.
DCL is a poacher get the ball in and he will get on the end of it
Midfield full of slow players who can pass sideways. Siggy,. Bernard gomes can all go. Never know what to make of Iwobi. But he got crosses in and we scored
We need to build up our squad in the next couple of seasons and get rid of the deadwood
Poor selection by Carlo today but it happens. But we do need pace throughout the team. Our play when James and Richy are out is so slow.
But top 10 for me is the best we can do then bring better players in

Gomes needs to have some awareness about him. It was unfortuante and saying it's braindead from him is nonsense like.

The whole thing just seemed to be gomes all over though. Slow, lacklustre, sloppy. Avoidable.

But that’s across the board. Not looked at it again but someone let Wilson go and probably didn’t give a shout. Gomes is finished since that tackle by Son, mentally if not physically

To be fair that’s a good point that illustrates how we tend to (over)react to each result in isolation. Had we been shown the table as it is now, after 7 games, before we played Spurs we’d have been made up. Just massively frustrated at what might have been.

Anyhow.......most of that rubbish today managed to get Silva sacked. Maybe Don Carlo should now rely on some of his youngsters for back up. Gordon.....Simms......Godfrey......Nkounkou.....Get them all up to speed.
And imo by the summer of next year, get rid of Iwobi....
