Regardless of the result tomorrow we can’t lose sight of the big picture. We have an opportunity for top 4 this season which would absolutely transform this club. A win or draw tomorrow are points towards a mid 70s points target that will get us champions league football. We’ve made a great start, if we can just avoid the sort of relegation run of form we normally do at some point in the season we can stay in The conversation for CL football.

I actually think Carlo does have a perfect game plan for these. People talk about the cup game but we could have been 5 up at half time if our players had taken their chances. Equally the Goodison derby we defended deep but could have won it with Sigurdsson and Davies playing midfield. If we can just avoid doing anything ridiculously stupid early doors they’ll start to panic the longer the game goes on.
 

Really excited but got a horrible feeling that things have gone too well this season so far for us to be allowed a derby win and be top of the table by the footballing Gods.

The big picture is most important 100%. If given the choice between a win here followed by three draws or a loss followed by wins over Southampton Newcastle and Man U you have to take the 9 points over the 6 but god it would be nice to finally get one over on those lot
 

You just know that "big Everton fan" Jota will bag against us - thats one thing nailed on probably more so than Origi who I would love for someone to leave one on.
