That's exactly what I responded with ;)

With a domestic-only season, I think a win on Sunday sets us up very nicely for a shot at the CL next year.

If we can stay within the top 5/6 until January I'd then love our board to go out and get that goalkeeper we need to really secure our back line and give us a fighting chance.
I suspect if we’re near the top 4 in jan Moshiri will open the cheque book if possible but it is a difficult time to buy quality players. Fingers crossed we can keep this good run going. We can’t win every week but we have to make sure we beat the dross and don’t roll over for the top teams if we want a chance of CL.

If crowds are still not permitted at European games in any large numbers a lot of clubs will be feeling the pinch and will be open to selling
If Donnarumma has not signed a new contract by Jan Milan may blink at 20 million rather than lose him for nothing in the summer
Other players will be available

I expect us to play a bit different against these, sitting in a bit more, letting them have a lot of the ball and trying to counter fast, a bit like what we did to BHA in the second half.

Agreed...

Napoli under Carlo were the first team to figure out this liverpool...
Villa did similar, although were helped by liverpool mistakes..

We'll need to be very disciplined defensively, and ride our luck abit...but when we can break out with possession we have the ideal players now to hurt liverpool..

We are going to win this one for the following reasons:

  • Carlo is a better tactician than dog-breath Klopp
  • I won't be there, last time I missed a home derby was the AJ 3-0.
  • None of us will be there to saviour the victory
  • None of us will be there - we clearly haven't helped over the last 10 years with our nervers
  • The incessant victims will claim Mane, Thiago etc had Corona and the game shouldn't have been played. In fact they will apply for the game to be null and void.
  • We can't get smashed all day in the boozer afterwards

How did you get into the last Home Derby then, matey?

RS mistakes?
Luck.
Villa should've got 10.
Think the villa boss done his homework, as did the leeds boss.
