he Everton thread on rawk is just glorious at the moment. For months there have been dreadful puns, pats on head, expressions of pity and comtempt, the works. After the first game 'Everton think they're going to win the league, Arf! Now after that villa thumping their arse has gone, and half of them are openly speculating on the fact we are out of Europe so have a massive advantage in the run in, only to be upbraided furiously by the old timers. 'Is anyone in here seriously saying Everton are going to win the f@@@@ league!?'

I don't believe in nit enjoying the moment because of fear of failure.

I am very aware that we could very well lose this game. Hell, we could lose to anyone. We are not a powerhouse ala Bayern.

But that doesn't mean that I'm gonna be cautious or fearful of Liverpool. They have not been the same since February and we have improved massively. I believe that we will beat them. If I'm wrong so be it, but I believe that we have the talent, guys, quality, and coaching to get 3 points from them.

Let's go Toffees

Months ago some lad posted stats on Dortmund under Klopp
After 2 or 3 seasons they fell off a cliff because
A Teams figured them out
B Drugs wore off
C injuries started to mount as the high intensity football eventually took its toll
As stated here the scum has dropped of since Feb and maybe just maybe we are witnessing the beginning of the end

What Carragher said made a load of sense. To just keep running up the pitch with the high line, when sides have evidently sussed a way around it is just suicide.

As usual the gimps at TAW were mocking what Carragher said with the "year what do you know Carragher, how many leagues did you win, this side just do what they're best at" type of chat, but the tatical inflexibility of Klopp will be a downfall just like it is with Pep.

Arsenal got whacked the game before, but could have easily scored 3 or 4. If you can break the first press and get runners going from deep, you can cause them all sorts of problems. Gomez, Arnold et al do not look comfortable. Alisson gets them out of a lot of trouble.

7-2 is one game. But within the last 15 games there has been a 3-1 home defeat, a 3-0 away defeat, a 5-0 and now a 7-2. Also conceded 3 at home to Leeds. Doubts will be setting in, and video analysts will be getting more data in the best way to play them.

They made Ross Barkley look like Zidane on Sunday.

Seen that but to see the synapses of it again.

To be fair, it is rare for us to lose the Goodison derby.

That's true, even rarer to win though haha

Part of me thinks this is yet another 0-0 in the making you know, usually cagey affairs anyways, and they'll be determined to not concede any after shipping 7.

A nice early goal however and we could tear them apart.

We need a brain as goalkeeper...:D

Can’t see it being 0-0, both sides have too many good players going forward. Can see it being vert tactical, can see us playing very deep to allow us to hit balls into the spaces behind the high press. This is one of the most intriguing games of the season, will Liverpool play the same way and possibly get caught again. If they do change will that be better than what they have been doing. Can Everton keep it going against a top side who is going to place them under pressure for long periods. How will Everton approach the game.
If Liverpool loose what happens? If Everton loose can they bounce back?
A draw is a good result for Liverpool but not a good result for us.
