Yeah, it's hard to deny. But i'm coming at this from a pragmatic perspective - we are not gonna get a better keeper in before the window shuts and once dropped, getting back is hard for a keeper. Defo think he needs to hear it for his mistakes but subbing him off at half time now isn't much of a solution.

Remember when Tim Howard stayed beyond when he should of? He got blasted by a lot of Everton fans and he was a great keeper for us. The point is everyone makes mistakes. Pickford just keeps making them. By supporting him we are not making him a better player we are fooling oursleves. There is no fans in the ground we are not helping him. Dropping him now (like Rob should of done with Howard at the time) is what needs to happen now
Ps I am not arguing with you football is all about opinions and nice to have a decent debate :)
 

I am of firm belief that winning at the very top level of sport comes down to ‘the top two inches’. Pickford appears lacking in this regard and there’s not a lot more to be said. The best we can hope for now is that he gooses some GILF of a Merseyside gangsta, and a fatwa is issued against him (a la Roscoe)
