You mentioned "meaningless PL points." There are no such things, so it follows you'd prefer we field a lesser team -- increasing the odds of a loss -- just to keep James et al from harm before a derby. Not a stretch, then, to get what I said.

This guy is incredible. Whole other level to Hojberg from what I've seen of him this season. Really does make me wonder why we were in for him when Allan is this much better, can it really just be the PL proven aspect?

Rest James and DCL as well...he cant lead the line on his own in any case. Put someone like Walcott up or play a false 9.

The priority is the derby, not taking meaningless PL points.

I think Carlo had decided on signing Allan very early in his tenure as our manager.
