Totally agree. Last year we would have deflated completely and gone for a draw. This time I wasn't even in doubt about us scoring more. Weird,but lovely feeling

Great to win but felt like a bit of reality check which is no bad thing with the window still open. Everybody played well last week but this week not so. Both Pickford and Mina were extremely poor. I expect we will finish between 6th and 9th. We really need to target the league cup. It is such a big opportunity for us with the European sides having no choice but to rest players due to fixture congestion

Great start to the season. Tighten up the defence. Holgate to come back.
Get our promising youngsters on the bench. They will learn from this starting 11. Get Gomes up to speed. Get Richarlson a goal. Get on DC L to win the golden boot ( why not?). And beat the rs this year.........
So that's a 5-2 win . And not playing at full throttle. Great stuff.

5-2 and we didn’t play our best. Defence needs work and added personnel and Ancelloti will address that, but boy isn’t it refreshing to see an Everton team look so dangerous in attack?

Work on corners is needed, 9 in the first half and never even had an attempt on target from one... but enough with the negatives we've scored 5... 2 wins from 2 happy days.

Past years would have seen us on 1 point after these two games.

The Ancelotti effect has us sitting top with another very winnable game next week as well.

we aren't winning the league this season but Carlo has given us hope at least that we could be challenging up there before long.

So happy for DCL! Wanted to vote for him first, MOTM close call, but really it has to be Rodriguez. His contribution marked the turning point in the game, and his class and skill inspired an easy win in the end.
