Another great win well done lads and jags is feeling at home now so another plus there.
Its been a fantastic first half of the season and we have played united twice and got that out of the way so lets hope we can carry on

missed the Cahill goal (the 2nd, not the first lol)...

anyway, good bounce back win after the disheartening loss vs ManU over the weekend

nice to see Tater and Cahill play today after both were a doubt

There is always MOTD tonight, and believe it or not that win bring our winning total to a double figures already, we have now manage 10 win in 19 games half way through the season!

Now if we could manage to get 10+ win in the 2nd half of the season that would be great stuff!

Let's open up the thread for Arsenal match, so we could start talking about it?

Good match, Good win, Good play by everton aswell. Not a single player played badly today...

The MoM contenders for me are:

Neville - Scored and got some great crosses in with his high confidence

Jagielka - Marked Anelka out hte game, made a brilliant double block to aviod bolton equalising. Brilliant.

Lescott - Great attacking, so many good runs - takig on the players, usign his pace, getting balls into the box, having some shots, good assit - great

Cahill - Scored, helped Nevilles goal too - he was very busy in midfield, he won almost every header from a long ball or goalkick hoofed towards him

Arteta - He was everywhere today, right, left, centre - his passing was good, his skill was great especially in the second half, and he had some great chips in the second half aswell. And shockingly...He even had a shot!!!

For me Jagielka was MoM

Thanks for the commentary guys - just got back from a Boxing Day thing that I couldn't say no to and catching up on the results.

Nice to hear how well Jags did. Quote from BBC site: "Nicolas Anelka had a late effort saved by Tim Howard, but he was kept quiet by the outstanding Phil Jagielka."

After this day of matches, William Hill updated the odds of winning the premiership. We are joint 5th favourite coming in at 250/1

Well, to have a chance to go for the title we need to beat Arsenal in the next match, then we would only be 8 points behind Arsenal and 9 points behind Man U if they lose there next match!

It is still possible if team is holding each other down and we keep getting the right results, 9~12 points is possible it has been done before, whether or not we could do it is another question!

Once again MOTD was taking the piss, first they put us and RS match next to each other and after showing both match they didn't talk much about our match, I mean we are used to seeing RS match before us more often than not and longer as well, once again it was such a waste of time the highlight of our match is bloody short probably a mins or so and it was together with RS first and there shows was at least 4~5 times longer!

It was a tight contest in the 1st half but 2nd half was pretty much our game and alot of great move, which wasn't shown at all, we are still an in-form team, top 6 in the league, still in all domestic competition and in Europe & one of the top goal scoring team in the league, yet we are back to 90 seconds on MOTD and worst cut ever by the BBC people, are they taking the piss or what? We should write to them to tell them stop taking the piss.

Oh and after today games we scored 34 goals after which was the total of goals we have scored 2 season ago after 38 games and not to mention we reach double figure on wins half way through the season, pretty good hey?
