Worked hard as always it just wouldn’t come off for him. I still love him to bits. His work rate alone and slowing down play and keeping possession when needed to made up for all his lack of finishing today.
Brilliant second half, he’s going to excell playing with better players, you could see him rising to the pitch of the game.

Agreed. Always up for it, always taking chances and getting stuck in. Would have been nice if he had slotted there, but really there was no "buts" for me in his game today. Sometimes you score them sometimes you don't
