Here's goal and assists stats (shame cos really the best stat to use is chances created when it comes down to judging creativity) for 17-18 through to last season, for Zaha and Walcott.

2018-19 – 10 goals, 10 assists (36 apps)
2017-18 – 9 goals, 5 assists (29 apps)
Total: 23 goals, 20 assists (104 apps)

Assists are a poor stat I think, cus it depends so heavily on who he’s playing with

Chances created’s a much better barometer

Edit: didn’t read the top bit of your post

sorry but stats are bull c look at how he plays teams have to put 2 men on him so he opens the game up in other ways when it comes to Walcott teams don’t even need to mark him how people would want him at the club is unreal for me the team would so benefit from him in the team

Even that’s a load of bumhole to be honest, a corner tossed in the general direction of a defender’s massive loaf head counts as a chance created. We’ve been stung by the stats game before. The eye test beats all stats.

Agree with that, think of the number of assists Baines had that didn't lead to goals due to our duffers of strikers lol

Why do people keep making up the Zaha fees 40/60m, it won't cost either of those after the season hes just had.
He’s not unearthed a single prospect from South America or Africa yet.

And he signed Iwobi....

He’s not demonstrated yet that he can do what PSV have done successfully for years.

The scouting network often won't be feeding young prospects straight into the first team squad or even the U23s such as Braithwaite and Nkounko. Were all these young talents brought straight into the PSV first team or were they brought into the U18 or junior set-up?

It's always going to be tricky get undiscovered young talent out of South America and Africa and into English clubs due to fairly strict work permit rules. It could be argued that Africa would be even more difficult due to FIFA rankings around which so many permits depend. Difficulties which may or may not be exacerbated in the forthcoming months due to Brexit.

I don't know the workings of permits in Holland but it may be easier. It fluctuates throughout Europe and I believe some countries may have less strict rules or agreements in place regarding specific countries.
