He only has one year left on his contract so what will we be buying?

It'd be the equivalent of a performance related fee. Many transfers are initial X amount and then a further Y amount if certain criteria are met be it appearances, goals or competition wins.

This deal would be if Everton decide the loan has been successful enough to sign him permanently then the loan fee would be retroactively increased. There was a similar clause when we signed Gareth Barry even though he was a free agent.

Strange that there's lots of new posters popping up on this fourm who only seem to post negative things about all things everton, don't you think?

Just between me and you I think the players were being linked with have got them lot a bit riled. I can tell you though because you're obviously a blue.

James is going to be and still is amazing. Pulling off this signing will be the biggest signing everton have made in over two decades.
