See lukaku was more exciting for me. I’d thought for years - Evidently wrongly as it turned out - that we were only a quality striker away from hitting the big time. I thought signing lukaku was the missing piece of the jigsaw. This is definitely very exciting, but I think it has more potential drawbacks than lukaku and I just feel we’re a lot further away than we were then. Just seeing a player of genuine quality in an Everton shirt is enough for me at the moment though.

I’d be a liar if I said I had seen James Rodriguez play...I haven’t.
