he might be right but firstly he’s coming on the back of being wrong , A LOT so maybe have some self awareness .

Then he’s explained to us why things can’t happen because of our financial situation , things that now appear to be happening . It wasn’t a “maybe with some creative accounting this could happen“ , it was a hard no , he’s been As sure as he was about say Usamanov never selling his arsenal shares .

Lastly , We might have to sell a few to balance the books a little , most of us live in the real world so get that . However , for example I don’t tell you on Christmas Day as the kids open their presents “oh that’s £120 , you’ve got to find the money for that. You’ll need Loads of Overtime“ or “imagine how many crap packed lunch butties you’ll have to eat to afford that present “ . Despite being mostly wrong , The bloke seems to want to be right , rather Than Everton step forward . It’s sad.

No dispute from me mate.

"Everton have agreed a deal with Napoli to sign Brazil international midfielder Allan for a fee of €25m (£21.7m), plus an additional €3m (£2.6m) in incentives, according to Sky in Italy."

So about £24m total.
That's about the same Walsh paid for Davy 'kin Klaassen.

And that Klassen deal was before Neymar's PSG move sent the market insane and effectively doubled the going rate for every other transfer.

Dont care about the money...care about the squad and the squad is dire and over paid thanks to Brands. Only good player and good fee he negotiated was digne...

Your getting brands mixed up with Walsh mate - walsh is the reason the squad is full of overpaid wasters.

Brands has had his poor deals granted - Delph and iwobi, but I raise you a Sandro, bolasie, siggy, klassen, tosun, Keane from Walsh, and there prob loads I've missed.

Unfortunately those in charge of transfers at Everton don't have the luxury of not caring about the money.

There's plenty of overpaid players at Everton. But quite a few less since this time last year now.
