Fellaini rescued his job with Belgium. 2-0 down to Japan and a bit of direct hoof ball and Fellaini’s gifts turned that round. Then undone by the most boring French team ever. I’m not sure Martinez can claim success with Belgium.

Courtois, Hazard, De Bruyne, Lukaku. Anything other than winning tournaments with these types of players will be seen as a failure. He’ll go down as the coach who wasted Belgium’s golden generation unless he wins the next euros.
Exactly, correct me if I’m wrong but he actually hasn’t won anything with the Belgium team

Just looking at our transfers since Brands came in.
His first year he spent £107m bringing in £25m (Bernard, Digne, Richy, Mina perm. Zouma Gomes loan). So an £82m spend.
If we were to flog the 4 we bought there now, you would be looking at doubling that atleast (30/40m digne, Yerry 15-20m & Bernard 10-15m plus whatever Richy would go for)

Last summer he brought in £72m from player sales (profit on onyekuru, vlasic & lookman who were all surpless to requirements, aswell as £30m for 30 year old gueye).
Problem he has had was last summer incomings were a bump in the road, Kean may still show something, Gbamin you cant blame him for either, Gomes all fans wanted. Delph was low risk, and obviously has been low reward. The major blot seems to be £35m on Iwobi.
If he didnt buy him we would of made a net profit on transfers last summer. Which was one of his aims, to stop us hemouraging money.

He's getting abit of stick at the moment but alot of our troubles are koeman/walsh players. Certainly been mistakes (iwobi obviously) but you look at Pickford, Sigurdsson, Walcott, Tosun, Bolasie, Besic, Sandro and the new Conor McAleny in Pennington are all is hamstringing him

Moshiri, above all, wanted Martinez gone. He wanted to choose his own manager. And what splendid choices he's made.

Can't really knock Moshiri for wanting to choose his own manager. The fans were already getting restless about Bobby by the time Moshiri joined.

It's taken a couple of attempts but getting Carlo in is a huge coup for the club and Moshiri deserves credit for that.

Pointless if he isn't backed though - and if he isn't backed it's because of poor decisions in recent years by Moshiri/the club.

We finished 11th, twice, with Lukaku up top.

Hes the worst manager in our history.

Is walking into a room trying to do deals is easy with our laughable, absurd recent transfer history is simple?

Any table we sit at to do a deal we are at a disadvantage.

Sandro
Siggy
Schneiderfraud
Walcott

We have cupboards full of bad deals, high wages and deadwood and everyone knows it.

We have a reputation of over paying for a while now.

He said it would take time.

Yet people cry foul when we are not making moves quickly and for tabloid phenoms or high pedigree overpriced veterans.

man city, Chelsea, and clubs alike are not having issue are used as arguments. It’s silly really.

We spent a few good years burning money in the streets and puffing up our chests that we will just buy our way up the table.

From the Sandro signing until now as measure, yes we are significantly in a better place.

Walker was better.
