This window could actually turn out quite exciting if we can sell the likes of Davies, Delph, Sig etc and replace with quality. We wouldn’t miss them.
I think we go big for 2 or 3 singings, then we could, I say could, sign another 3 in the last week of the window if we can sell the Squad players.

Getting the dregs of better teams hasn't worked out great for us

Dregs of better teams only works if it's a player that just doesn't fit in the city or the country, or they have no chance cos someone is permanently ahead of them -

Definitely big difference between Delph, Iwobi, Walcott, Siggy vs Digne, Gomes, Mina ...hopefully we don't go for Lingard but I wouldn't mind someone from the Chelsea, Barcelona or Juventus clearouts that may happen

As long as the former are in first, assuming the interest in Arias is legit, then I’m happy getting through the first couple games while we persue the latter. I’m guessing, as he’s not had a chance to work with them, that the likes of Besic and Bolasie may get some game time at Blackpool on Saturday before getting punted out
