At this point I'm over the age thing. We need immediate improvement,if that means signing a couple of experienced players, as long as they're of sufficient quality to go straight into the first team then I'm all for it. We need to climb the table immediately. I'd take Thiago Silva for a season or 2 if he would come as well. The other other model isn't working yet.

This fella is definitely at the top of Carlo's list he even mentioned in an interview earlier this year that a dream midfield addition would be Allan. I'll be very surprised if this one isn't at least completed before the start of the season, however i reckon any other signings will be down to the wire. It wouldn't surprise me that we were waiting for the advance tv payments to arrive before further signings are made as we usually do and because the season start is later plus cash being handed back to the tv companies (why this happened when every game was televised i cant fathom) this is happening later than usual.
