Im just a bit concerned given his age and the time it normally takes players to adapt.

I think this gets overblown. Most quality players will slot into a new team straightaway.

My only worry is that there are fewer examples of successfully going from Italy to England than with, say, Spain or France. I do wonder if Allan is somewhat similar to Torreira, who I'd expected to do well at Arsenal.

I doubt we’d be buying him at the rumoured figures even if it is instalments and add ons.
If there is any credence to the reports I think Napoli will have to drop the price significantly or we will look elsewhere.
