If he has a weakness it is his wild distribution. Why does he not throw the ball to a player on the half way line, instead of those huge kicks? Someone should have a word. I wonder to what extent goalkeepers "do their own thing", unlike outfielders who play to a pattern dictated to them?

Distribution - thought that was one of his supposed strengths. God he must have gone bad.

The dive for that free-kick was quite ridiculous. He just loves chucking himself through the air. Bet he goes "geronimoooooo" in his head.

Plus he'd have been nowhere near it if it was a yard lower.

it's a really interesting one, im not an expert in goalkeeping but by all accounts the only reason for the dramatic dives is awful positioning. You never saw Petr Cech leaping around like a salmon on Ket
