The problem is he’s been dross when I’ve actually watched him play. And there’s a lot that defenders do that don’t show up on the stat sheet. Positioning and awareness are crucial but don’t show up anywhere on that list because they’re not measurable. He’s young and clearly got some talent, but I’ve not been impressed.
