ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Yeah, because that's the important part of the post.
Ok - rather than bandying words - get to the point and say what you think - what is the important part to you? How are you interpreting it? Tell me and I'll let you know if that's what I intended to say.

I ask because I'm genuinely trying to understand how internet loons and clot poles manage or choose to take offence. :coffee:

So you can tell me I'm wrong? And I'm a "snowflake" or some other BS? Nah I'll leave it there thanks.

Have a good day.

So really what you're saying, looking back, is that I didn't say anything wrong and you perhaps got the wrong end of the stick. Fair enough, we all make mistakes - me too.

Not really trying to call anyone names - if anything I'm trying to put a stop to people appropriating language or virtue signalling by trying to read offence into text where it isn't intended. I will naturally defend myself against such passive agressive nonsense.

It was Barnes himself.

He said in his autobiography that he felt like he had to fit in by undermining himself and acting like what he described as being an Uncle Tom.
The fella was prone to memory lapses he remembers bananas being thrown at him at Goodison ( I am not condoning that ) but conviently forgets that it was Liverpool fans who first threw them at him in his debut at Highbury.

Remember though theirs is just banter though...
Like pushing innocent bystanders into fountains and stuff.
